- What does the header image convey about your website, and how does this relate to meeting the information needs of your target audience? The image header I created relates to my brand, Kees Coverage. There is a ball in it so you know that it is sports related and that would be targeting my audience to those who loves sports. I created this graphic on photoshop.
- Where did you find your source images? How do you know that you are allowed to reuse them? I found my images on Creative Commons. These photos are already recreated so I am reusing them.
- Briefly address the production process. How did you make use of image editing techniques described in Manovich’s article to create a multi-layer image? The Production process was very quick and easy for me because I already understand how to edit from previous courses and experiences. Manovich’s article suggests very good point when talking about different layers of images. What they mean and when to utilize blurs, transparency, and other techniques that are provided in photo editing.
- Compare your production process to that of a single-layer bitmap image of the sort that Davison describes. How is it similar or different? My images are very different from Davison. All of the images that Davison describes looked more like paintings or like art made drawings. Where as my photo is more graphical.
